Located in the northeast corner of OCT Harbor, the OCT Creative Exhibition Center occupies an area of 4000 square meters and is Shenzhen’s first high-end commercial and cultural creative exhibition center. Endowed with cutting-edge design by Zhu Pei, a renowned Chinese architect, its construction was inspired by water droplets and pebbles, symbolizing the ocean and a natural round shape with flowing spatial design and a variable texture. The overall character of the center and the modern minimalist temperament of the design fully embody the new concepts of environmentally friendly buildings and low-carbon lifestyle. The Creative Exhibition Center uses a world leading pressure-sensitive lighting system which allows visitors to automatically increase or decrease the brightness and recreate the completely different effects of day and night. Moreover, while putting energy-conservation and environmental protection objectives into practice, this also gives the building more sensitivity to the environment and more vitality, making it a bright and beautiful pearl of OCT Harbor.
Based on the advantages of the OCT brand and art and culture resources, the Creative Exhibition Center has selected commercial culture themes and pioneering innovative cultural activities that are highly relevant to the Center itself as part of the Center’s core display content.
