Oktoberfest Back on for Fourth Year at Crowne Plaza Shenzhen

One of the signature events for Shenzhen is the Oktoberfest put on by the Crowne Plaza Shenzhen. At this event you have every night a tent packed full of people guzzling beer and a German band that is able to magically turn up the atmosphere. Last week the German band came to perform just a few songs for the media to launch the party and had all the Shenzhen media in a conga line. The Crowne Plaza Shenzhen has successfully held three Oktoberfest celebrations - exciting and hot. This November, Oktoberfest is back! Beginning on October 31st till November 7th, Oktoberfest at Crowne Plaza Shenzhen will offer it all - beer, food, games and lots of fun!

This year’s beer festival is brought back to you by our valuable partner German Chamber of Commerce, and generous sponsors TUV Rheinland, BMW, Lufthansa, Jade Cargo, Losberger. The festival features the remarkable singing sensation created by “The Muenchner Musikanten”, strong ethnic-style "chicken dance", and Bavarian cuisine offered to guests by a German chef. The Crowne Plaza Shenzhen staff will be dressed in custom designed uniforms to suit the event. A lucky draw every day, special brewed German beer, and other Oktoberfest elements will top off an unforgettable night.

Muenchner Musikanten is renowned for their repertoire of German folk and international pop tunes, and has been whipping the crowds into a dancing frenzy in cities around the world. Over the past several years, they’ve become an unforgettable part of Oktoberfest with their wicked antics and fabulous rhythm. It’s great to have them back again to keep our beer tent a' rocking!

Oktoberfest begins every night at 6:00pm at the Crowne Plaza Shenzhen back garden. Enjoy Bavarian specialties and Chinese delight buffet for only RMB290 net per person, which includes the freshly brewed German Beer by Brew Master Ulrich.
