LIMONI OPENS AT THE RITZ-CARLTON, GUANGZHOU CREATING A PLACE TO DINE THE ITALIAN WAY

The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou is proud to present the opening of LIMONI restaurant, bringing the Italian Cucina Autentica to the food capital of China.

Focusing on simplicity, authenticity, and flavors, LIMONI is a casual Italian restaurant. A truly unforgettable experience complemented by the stylish décor and a wine cellar stocked with a wide variety of Italian wines. An open kitchen and interactive Chef create a warm ambience which allows you to sit back and enjoy dining the Italian way. LIMONI is the sixth Italian restaurant by The Ritz-Carlton hotels in China, further demonstrating a great strength and expertise in this style of cuisine.
                    
With some 25 years’ culinary experience in 12 countries on five continents, Chef de Cuisine, Luca Pecorari brings global flair to traditional Italian cuisine. Working internationally and learning the best of each country's specialties and ingredients, his cuisine has been admired by guests the world over. He was the Primavera Restaurant Chef at The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa for two years before becoming the Splendido Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka in Japan. During Luca’s four years in Osaka, his warm personality and delectable cuisine made Splendido one of the best Italian restaurants in Japan.

“A kitchen is a place of fun where passion and respect for the finest ingredients come alive in simple creations,” said the talented chef, who returns to his roots presenting the authentic cuisine of his home town of Norcia in Umbria, the town famous for Italian sausage and truffle.

Heading signature restaurant ‘LIMONI’ at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou the stage is now set for him to take diners on an authentic journey through Italian cuisine.

The a la carte menu features a selection of authentic and flavorful appetizers, soups, freshly home-made pasta and risotto, seafood, meat and poultry.

Signature dishes include lobster and clams with lemon flavored mashed potatoes and black truffle jelly, risotto with roasted prawns, served with lemon sauce and water cress, and its signature pizza Norcina made with home-made Italian sausage and mozzarella and freshly imported Italian black truffle.
Complementing the menu is a selection of desserts, traditional Italian coffee and 15 types of grappa; there is also a walk-in wine cellar housing a large selection of Italian red and white wine hand picked by the hotel’s sommelier.
“We use only the finest ingredients and traditional cooking techniques to present the best of Italy, to dispense happiness on the plates in LIMONI” said Michelle Caporicci, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou.

In total, LIMONI seats 80 and the private dining room and the booths guarantee a cozy and relaxed dining enjoyment. It is the perfect place for celebrations and relaxation for food and wine lovers as well as corporate decision-makers. The stylish décor and setting that enables diners a view of the open kitchen and the oversized wine cellar is the backdrop for the highly personalized service led by Restaurant Manager Victor Zeng.
