The concept is this: Provide better burgers than can be found anywhere else in Shenzhen. Johnny plans on buying his meat from a wholesale market in China and freshly grinding it in his shop. All burgers will be served with homemade chili on top - something that Johnny made out to be his specialty. And his french fries will be freshly cut and fried in shop throughout the day.

Here's a tip: Don't serve french fries in a closed box!
Ever wonder why the big boys serve their burgers, etc, in closed packages, but leave the fries in open funnels? Cause when you trap the steam from those fries, it becomes soggy. Soggy limp fries, sheesh!
I know this is China where if things aren't nailed down, they tend to grow legs, but let's have some way of providing more ketchup.
On the plus side: nice touch to have a stylish wash basin right in the dining area, but how about paper towels or at a minimal, toilet paper to dry hands?
The theme is supposedly a US diner? How about driving that home plus gain attention with some old time rock 'n roll?
Good luck!

it's worth checking out. For anyone craving a decent US style burger I say it's a good buy for the money. I'm not a big fan of McDonalds, and also don't quite have the budget for a 60+ yuan gourmet burger. But I'd say, Johnny's is a very good burger, especially considering what you pay. That's my 2 cents, for what it's worth ;-) Additionally the staff are very receptive to suggestions.
