"TRAFFIC controls will be imposed on roads around the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, the venue for the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) from Tuesday to Nov. 21.
From 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., vehicles without a pass to the fair will not be allowed into the area bordered by Fuhua Road 3, Binhe Road near the exhibition center and sections of Jintian Road and Yitian Road.
Vehicles with passes would be allowed to park in car parks P0-P5 and those without passes could park at the nearby temporary P6-P10 car parks, with space for 1,850 vehicles. Temporary buses would transport visitors to the exhibition center, police said Thursday.
According to the fair organizer, more than 12,000 professionals had signed up for the fair, which is expected to attract 85,000 visitors a day.
The fair this year occupies nine halls of the convention and exhibition center, an area of 105,000 square meters, showcasing the latest developments in IT, Internet applications and other high-tech industries."
