My former employer Concord Camera is closing its doors and liquidating assets. This camera factory had over 7,000 employees when I started working their. When I left 3 years later it was down to 2,500 employees and just a couple years later it is closing it's doors. The factory is located in Henggang in Longgang district.
Now that Barack Obama is president the media is trying to find his half brother Mark Ndesandjo to get a reaction regarding his reaction to the election. Unlike his half brother Barack, Mark seems to keep a low profile. He has been living in Shenzhen since 2002.

Due to the Longgang Bar Fire, authorities are cracking down and check bar fire and business licenses. In the long run this should result in a safer nightlife but in the short term we have some bar closings and re-openings. It is hard to keep up with the rumors swirling around.
