I currently live in the US where I am a certified USA track and field coach and a masters sprinter (age 30+.)  My company has offered me a position involving relocating to Shekou (was originally Hong Kong) for a period of 3-6 months initially with the possibility of being permanent later.

Here in the US there is an entire organization dedicated to masters athletes promoting competitions.  I also have easy access to track facilities to run and train on in addition to a wealth of choices for possible competitions (open.)  I am unable to find anything like this in China. 

In HK I have found HKAAA (Hong Kong amateur athletic association) that lists competitions and offers clubs.  Is there anything like this in Shekou/Shenzhen?  HK isn't far but I would prefer to have something closer if possible.  Being that I am a sprinter, I do not run long distances and would like to run on an actual track training for speed.  Are there any facilities in the area I would be able to go to to do this?  I have located a few tracks using google maps I just do not know if they are open or if I would have problems using them being a foreigner.
