Expired Visa

My name is Ryan, and I came to China for studies, however, for some reasons I moved to shenzhen from Guilin, guangxi. Then the main problem started for me which is visa issue. That is shenzhen university was processing my application, but right before my visa was going to expire to be exact 10 hours before they denied my application and when I went to there office to talk about it they said they denied my application because my visa is expired, so when I contacted the university in guilin, they also said sorry and said it is really complicated process, so they do not want to be part of it? How strange, and now I am stuck I do not want to leave for some financal situations, on the other hand, I want to stay here and start my studies again. But there is no way to solve my visa issue. No matter how many agencies I have contacted, but I hear no from every where. Why is that? Is it because of my passport? What is a passport, to me it is just a travelling document thats it. I have kept my records clean my whole life till now where I didnt intend to do anything wrong, but in reality it happened a bad record, and besides that I do not have any chance to fix this issue, China and Chinese people consider Pakistan to be there good friend, but there is not even one single option for me to solve this issue avoiding bad records, and still be able to countinue my studies. Some Friends suggested if I find a job that might solve it I tried No use, for example, Teaching jobs are only for Native speakers, and other jobs require Chinese language, which I cannot speak because of the reason I am new to China, and I just started my classes thats it and then I am stuck in this stressfull situation.
Hope to hear some solutions any possibillities regarding my sitaution.

maybe you can try Hong Kong for your study visa. otherwise, you have to go back to your country to China embassy for the student visa.

Sorry for your visa problem...
When was your visa expired? You see you should do visa extension 20 days before your visa expired.
Here is some info for your reference if your visa already expired:
1. If your visa was already expired, please go to the local Public Security Bureau to pay penalty, the penalty will be RMB500/day, no more than RMB5000 totally. You should go there by yourself and explain to officers that you weren't intentional to do that, you already know your mistake and you would extension visa in time, if your attitude is good and pay penalty ASAP, Officer may not put your name in the bad record in the sys.
2. After pay penalty, you should go to the entry and exit admin hall to apply 10 days extension, and you should exit in these 10 days.
3. when you exit, should apply visa again if you want to come back China.
That's the Visa Regulation, I understand what your situation, yet sorry we can not give more help...

Sorry to hear this. Unfortunatly you are probably looking at some length of dentention (jail time) plus a possible fine.
I would advise you to go to Shanghai and deal with this problem at any PSB. They will direct you to the correct PSB. From there you will have to wait until a decision is made. If they fel your story is legitimate they may give you no penalties at all.
If they feel otherwise you can expect jail time, a fine and deportation. Only good news is this. When your jail term is finished you will receive a 10 day visa free of charge so you can leave the country.

At present, we can offer a 10 days L visa for those whose visa expired within 2 years, no need to pay penalty or keep in blacklist...

That is a tough problem. Not sure if a lot can be done to help on that one. Sherlock claims he can help you, so I would email him, and suggest he provides an email address, expecting someone who has an expired visa give you their phone number by calling you, well that is not to realisitic I think.

yes, we can offer the 10 days L visa for the expired visa holders, however, i am sorry to say that there are 6 countries is not available at present: (Irap, Iran, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Afghanistan)

Just make sure you talk with the person and visit their office to make sure they are legit; as too many foreigners get ripped off when using visa agents in China.
Visa issue huge problem in
Visa issue huge problem in China, I came over here to study not getting black listed. I am ready to pay money to get help for my visa, but paying the fine is also ok as long as I do not get black listed or being asked to leave the country. Because I want to countinue study rather then spend more then 20,000 RMB just to leave the country. To my understanding I will be waisting my money for no reason. Why the hell the chinese people or the government think about it. Making it so complicated that no one can do anything some times some people go through financial crisis, so they cannot register for the class at that moment, and for the moment they cannot leave because they are going through financial crisis. To me it looks like they know this issues so thats why they make it so strict, so they can earn money. For example, my uncle owns a company here he has a business visa and every month he has to leave which means he dosnt even earn that much money but he spents more then that. WHy is that. there was a time in China when chinese said come to china no matter you have education or not you have experiance or not we still welcome you and now once they have good standing they start to detroy those who helped them get a good stand. I wish I can just leave this country without getting into any trouble I will never come back to this country ever in my life, My entier life I had never done any thing illegal, but here in CHINA without even having any intentions, but it still happens and they say I have to go to jail No way. THE WORST PLACE TO BE IN THE ENTIER WORLD.......
