Hi,
I am moving to SZ in late Marxh. I am looking for an apartment via an agent. He has just asked if I require Fapaio - I understand what these are but is this a loaded question? I guess a landlord would avoid paying taxes on the reant if fa paio isnt issued, but I have read somewhere that I need Fa Piao to prove residency for my Visa requriements?
Can anyone advise?
THanks
/Mark

Mark, you dont need fapio to
Mark, you dont need fapio to prove your residency. you need your rent contract though.
Fapio is good becuse they get you deduction in tax. usually any income above 4,800 Rmb a month is taxed.presenting fapio to your company/ accountant means the basic 4,800 and the amount you pay as house rent is excluded from being taxed.
For example you are paid 10,000 rmb. tThe basic 4,800 Rmb will not taxed so you will have to pay taxes on 5,200RMB (whatever the perentage). Now if you live in a place that costs you 3,000 Rmb a month and you got fapio for that. you need to pay income tax on the remaining 2,200 Rmb only (5,200-3,000=2,200). landlord usually have to pay money to get fapios from the property department. They would wish you never ask, but they cannot refuse.
you maybe able to save money if you get your clothes claened at a laundry too. apparantly that fapio can also get you a tax deduction.
fapiao is not problems ,
fapiao is not problems , the problem is you need a rent contract for you visa , the rent contract prove you residency . the rent contract must from official , so the official rent contract is necessary ,you will have fapiao after get contract. compare you visa , the fapiao cost is a samll number paid from you .
but if you stay in hotel ,is not like this .
