Shenzhen Daily: Pyramid scheme smashed

LONGGANG police have broken up a seven-member pyramid sales syndicate involving around 10 million yuan (US$1.47 million), the largest of its kind in the district.

A woman, identified by her surname Wang, owner of Shenzhen Romannati Underwear Co., collected a huge sum of money fraudulently by selling underwear in a pyramid scheme in one year, police told a press conference yesterday.
