BOOKINGS for reunion dinners on Chinese New Year's eve in Shenzhen seem a little bleak this year with a 20-percent fall because of the financial crisis, the Shenzhen Catering Service Trade Association said recently.
Only around 50 percent of tables in major restaurants had been booked, even though the lunar New Year was just a month away, according to Xu Shaohua, general secretary of the association.
