Marathon Runner

I just got back from running the half marathon at the Hangzhou international marathon. I was wondering if there was anyone in Shenzhen training or interested in training for a marathon. I am look for someone to train with occasionally.

I'm toying around with the idea of doing the Great Wall marathon in May. I run 3 days a week, probably 20-25k a week. Not sure where you run, but I live in Nanshan close to coastal city. I usually go from Coastal City to Seaworld and back.

Hello daniel

I am now training for my 1st marathon race in my life that is coming on 1st Jan 2009 hold in XIAMEN.
I get up at 5:30 and then go out for running 1hrs30mins. Running one day and rest at next day. Total 50kms weekly
What’s your training program? Where do you run usually? I live very close to sz university so that my training place is in the campus mostly.
Hope we could have some communication and change some ideas.

ELEKTROAESTHETIK wow you got me so interested in the Great Wall marathon. Right now im running 6 days a week 6-12km depending if it is a workout day or not. havent done any sprints in a while since i started smoking agian, the stress of moving to SZ has gotten to me. but for sure quit again soon. I looking to do the 10k since it would be my first marathon.

and yeah im most likely be moving to the Nanshan area in Jan. please update me will some nice routes in that area.

Hi Candy,

I really enjoy watching Ironman and find the triathletes to be very amazing. I was meaning to go watch the one held in Penticton BC this year but was to busy at the time. I am not really a seasoned runner and only have been running for about a year and half. After finding a rupture disc in the lower has left me unable to go all out on the weights anymore. Still i only like to run 45-55min only to retain any muscle i have left. lol

Have you ever tried a supplement called citrulline malate it helps with oxygen delivery, glucose uptake, muscle firepower, recovery, and much more. Really amazing pre and post run, you'll feel it working right away in your lungs.
