Lap Swimming Pool Near Subway a Subway Station?

Papa John, The Futian Shangri-la just opened today and I really wanted to recommend their indoor pool but it is not quite finished. It should be another month and a half or so before they open. It is right off the Huizhan Zhongxin station attached to the Kerry Plaza so once this opens I think it should meet your needs.

Haven't seen the pool yet since it is not ready the didn't want to show me but the gym looks quite good. They are waiting on the pool to be ready to give out pricing for joining.

I'm with you on the quest for a good pool for lane swimming. So far the best I have seen is at the stadium - 'tiyuguan'. It's near bi jia shan, the big mountain in the north of futian. No subway stop, but there are plenty of bus stops around. If you are interested, I can find out more.

I haven't actually swam in the pool, but I went there to take a look. It has 25m and 50m lanes, but at the time I was there, the 50m pool was divided in half. The main thing is that there are no kids running around, ect... People were really swimming, not just frolicking around.

I've also heard that the pool at SZ university is very good. I'd be interested to hear any reports about that.

I know about the tiyuguan pools but they are not that convenient cause I live in Futian...... did you see people actually training - if this is the case I might give it a go as training alone is a bit boring... All the help is appreciated... PJon
