iPhone 3G Update in Shenzhen

I made a call to a contact to see what the status of the iPhone 3G status is in Shenzhen. From what he told me you can buy an iPhone from Hong Kong unlocked for 7,900RMB. iPhones from the US are available as well but they must be cracked with a special hardware device the price excluding this is 6,000RMB.

The old iPhone first generation is still available but the cost is 5,400RMB more than I originally paid.

BTW, my headphones for my first generation iPhone were already broken so I went to a Hutchison 3G store in Hong Kong and they sold me some replacement headphones for 216HKD.

and does anyone know how much cost old generation iPhone in HongKong? I hear 8GB is around 400 euro, is it?

On the Hong Kong apple website they say I can buy iPhone only in "3 shop". Do they have also older version there?

Thanks for the response man. That explains it. I generally find that the Guangzhou is better tuned than Shenzhen. I guess there is no choice but to spend weekends in GZ and only come to this city for work.
