Halloween Costumes

There's a giant market in Shenzhen that sells all festive things. It's generally huge for Christmas but I have to venture that way to find out what they have for Halloween as our company is putting on a party for our students across the city.

It's Bao An Bei Lu...which, yes, is just the name of the street but most taxi drivers know what you want there and if you have some Chinese friends or co workers they can write it down for you.

Otherwise, in HK go to Mong Kok; on the KCR/MTR (not sure which) take the exit for Century House and one of my employees found all kinds of stuff there.

Actually, I took Stephanie already to the one at Bao An Bei Lu:) Like I was telling her there are about 6 small shops spread between two buildings on different floors that have mostly decorations and then some OK costumes. I recommend it for finding basic parts in making your own costume and decorating your home if you are interested:)

I've also heard IKEA has some costumes but I won't know how good they are till I go on Saturday:)

My friend also mentioned Walmart.

This is my first halloween in Shenzhen, where is the best party?

I don't really want to go too far towards luohu etc, I live in Shekou.

Thanks for the link! But I'm a bit afraid in reference to the sizes.... coz we Germans are unlike Chinese tall (183 cm), have chest and a... hahaha...or in other words we're not that skinny :) S
Actually I have made the experience that you can tell them exactly your measurements and they'll fabricate it, if you pay some extra money.
So how is that going?

Does anyone know where I could buy a pumpkin that is larger than a fist and hasn't already been cut in half? i saw that Ole' had some, but they were pretty expensive.
