western hairdresser i dont know, but i know a very very very good hairdresser, apperantly he does hair for TV hosts and stuff. he charges quite a lot. about 1000 rmb to design and have your hair cut. in Esprite hair salon, WANG XIANG CHENG ,(is it also called 'the mix'?!)next to the book city n futian.
i mean if you want to talk to him and see if he knows how to handel you hair. i mean he is really good, wouldnt hurt to try, or talk to him before trying.

the mix one is really popular, but maybe not the one that match. sometimes, u may think the hair even worser than before perm or sth after spending a lot. i think u should find someone really good at communication.
