Is Shenzhen expensive to live?

I have just accepted a job in Shenzhen and having no idea about the place im struggling to find out if I will be able to live comfortably on my salary. I will be on 13800 a month, my apartment is all free so I will have no bills to worry about. will my salary be enough for me to live as im 23 and like to go out at weekends and go for meals will I still be able to carry on this life style?

Any prices for general things will be a great help for a vague idea of what to expect.

Also my apartment is the Peninsula in shekou i think, if anyone has any idea what this place is like I would appreciate the response!
