Tablets in Shenzhen

We are a non-electronic import company in New York. Recently, I became interested in importing cheap yet nicely made tablets that are produced in Shenzhen. After many attempts to contact so called "big name" manufacturerers I feel need to find a right person who can help me find the right direction.
In a nutshell, I am looking for someone who has a deep knowledge in tablet electronics from concept to resourcing to manufacturing. I DO NOT have electronic background but I been importing various items from China for over 10 years.
