warmly welcome to Shenzhen, China. Just as you mentioned, most international schools are charging more. Shekou international school in Nanshan charges around RMB140,000 for primary school student. Quality schools international of Shekou charges ＄12,300 each semester. International school of sino-canada is from ＄13,000 to ＄15,000. They are all charging more. While, I’m afraid they are the best choice. Most Chinese school will not accept the foreign students who can not speak in Chinese. I just have found Shenzhen Nanshan Bilingual School. Here is another school called Shenzhen Mingzhu Chinese-English Primary School in Luohu District.The fee would be about 6000-7000RMB per semester.They said it would be difficult at first for your child since she can’t speak nor understand chinese.But they have an American teacher and english-speaking chinese teachers, and they also have students like your child.They said they prefer to meet you and talk in person.

There are a British school, amazing school with a international department with classes in English and chinesse like second languages..the price are very good, non comparison with that I read above the web page is www.zygx.com.cn the problem is that is not close from shekou...I'm moving to Shenzhen from USA but I'm going to live in Futian and they have transportation service for my building...is around 30 minutes to Futian.

Hi, I'm in Shenzhen and I registry my kids in Funful Bilingual School..I'm very happy and they have plenty english staff..and all the teachers and assistant also speak ...The school have lots of international students some westerns and the most asians(corean, japan and singapur) very weel educated...is a Hong Konesse school, you can google like funful school shenzhen.and the prices are more reasonable that internationals.

You can check in the school web page www.funful.cn if not google it, funful school Shenzhen....is a Hong Konesse school. I have three kids and all of them are so happy...the most are international students from Asia, Japan,Corea,Hong Kong and other countries...Highly recomend and not compare with the prices of any International school with the good add that they learn chinesse in the school.

All of these schools are woefully expensive. Might be better just to find yourself a western or even Chinese tutor educated enough to tutor your child in the required subjects. Almost any certified qualified teacher can tutor a child in all the required subjects for one years time. Parents home school all the time and often have no degree, having only the materials required and offered to do so. Funny thing is it might be cheaper then an international school, and your child would get a better education, no question. Just something to think about.
