China Visa

I did visa on cotober 15 , they told me taht all went back to normal if you have a HK resident id , for all teh others they hope will be back to normal sometimes in november but they are not really sure so I think we will have to see and go on with the double entry 30 days

They are now some agents in mainland back in business, but the price are 4 times more expensive before the Olympiad, wish in my case i was obtaining F multy for 750 rmb.

NOW IS 2750 for F 6 months, there is one agent near shenzhen called Lisa an another in Beijing wish is a relive agent Leo visa, remark if you are not in that area have to send your passport in advance by mail.

I just applied for the L visa here in the USA....A great place called MyChinaVisa in Houston Texas.....
I did not have to give plane ticket or hotel information. I applied for a 6 month multiple and was given a one year multiple entry!

nothing has changed yet. If you have HK ID then you can get the multi-visa

Chinese Embassy in Bangkok "back to normal" all visas being issued, up to one year multi's. You MUST have Letter of Invitation from Chinese company for F Visa.

well i know one company and they are doing 6months F visa for American, European, Indian and Filipion expats
about entrys they are not sure but you have to submit your passport 20days before date of expiry and it total take 10days (7working days) from the day you give your passport to them .

i have given my passport to them and i will get back by 4th of november so more information i will provide by 4th the moment i have my passport in my hand with valid visa .

most good thing is that visa is issued in CHINA so expats dont need to waste time for going hongkong and stay there for 2-3days as it cost time as well money

they charge me 7K RMB for my passport but i think it can be negosiated as i am not good enough at that .

If you want Six months visa which can be issued in HongKong F also for that you should make a 'F' notification Letter and get attested from Notery (as well immigration of foreign affairs ) i know people who are making this certificate they can give you complete document set and they will charge you 2200RMB for the same taking this document you can go to CHinese Embassy in HongKong and anyhow submit these documents by 9:00 in morning and then wait evening 5 weather they will give you visa of 6months HAO HAO if no then go to MACAU next day with the same notification letter and then do it .

but don't need to worry IF you are not even US passport holder as visa is issued in USA but this is not important weather you are US resident or not as i said they are sending passports all the way to USA for getting it done.

I just talked to a travel agent in Hong Kong that I normally used to get my visa and she said that Americans can now get 6 month multiple entry visas in Hong Kong. You still have to stay overnight.

I went to the Chinese Consulate in Canada yesterday and was told long-term F visas are now available but we need a "Letter of Invitation" from a registered business in China.

my American boyfriend has the same kind of visa. All you have to do is exit China and come back. You can just go to HK and enter back to China on that same day. All you need is an exit stamp on your passport proving that you exited china within the 2 months. That's what my boyfriend has been doing for almost 1 year now.

What your b/f is doing is okay if you already have a valid visa. My visa expired in April 2008 and at that time the Chinese government would not issue new F visas so I returned to Canada. I am back at "square one" and need to start over again with a new "letter of Invitation".

Requirements for both these agents is >> scanned actual Visa deposit in their account half the amount, 2 pictures your name and that's all.

If done with Mr Kwok you must meet him in Lo hou early morning cross border with him, hand him your passport stay over night at HK and meet him next day
It sounds risky but I have tested his services 2 times with 2 different friends...!

FWIW, on Sept 25th, I tried to get a 90 day 1 Year F visa in San Francisco, USA. The consulate told me I could not get this visa without an official invitation letter. So instead, they gave me a 30 days 1 Year L visa. The visa costed me 150 USD. So now, every 30 days, I cross the border from SZ to HK, have lunch and then come back.

No need to go to Hong Kong for lunch, all you need to do is use the new Shenzhen Bay bridge building border, go across the 2 emigration officers 1st Chinese then HKonisse make U turn and do same thing in the other way!

You will save money, time and shoes !!!!!

By the way on your way just after you cross the Chinese you have a Duty free (nice opportunity to buy cigarettes and Alcohol.)

These shopping method is possible only on your way out of China NOT THE OTHER WAY

Are French nationalities able to get a 5 day visa at the border these days or is that still restricted?

The French 5 day is canceled as far as I know (because it was also valid for Belgians) and will not happen anymore (especially after the Olympic flame carrier stunt).

I also checked yesterday and the normal pre-olympic visa regulations are valid again but only for Americans at the moment...

Other nationalities can get max 3 month F or L but with max 30 day stay which is terribly annoying...

Because the rules change every day (damn you government) data of one week old could already be wrong so its best you contact travel agents and visa offices before you presume any of the information here is relevant.

That said... my own visa is expiring the 2nd of December. I used to have a residence permit and now I have to go to Hongkong and get the crappy 3 month 30 day F visa because I don't work for a valid Chinese registered company anymore. The bad part is I live in Shanghai...

Expats like us are living in shenzhen and we have developed enviorment around us for daily livings here but people who are living in some small towns in China they are not at all aware for anything that what is going on as i have my cousin based in ShaoXing he called me last month and he said he is getting extention everymonth in (ZheJiang Province) only at cost of 280RMB he gives nothing and living there since from a long but the problem is a person should go along with the local residence registration and get it done next day.

I do agree that some expats are there who only go to dating section, party section but then admin should post such sensitive comments with highlights same as some party and bar opening advertisements so somewhere we ourself are involved .

We should do some more efforts to make news common and some more get togthers should be there so that things can be discussed more deeply.

Pay #1 go out and hand the Emigration officer 5000 Rmb

#2 contact one of the agents mention and pay 3500 rmb

you will get a 6 months so all together will be only 8500 rmb.

do they issue visa for filipina in bangkok?

If u are still in China with an expired visa...big problem...they can fine u minimum 5000rmb...and there's a chance they will then dig into what u do in China...if you're not working legally for a company they may place u on a list so u won't be able to get a China visa.

...but like someone said above there is chance u can pay your way out of it, but only with some very good government contacts...and most likely will cost much more 10000rmb.

if you are going to goverment office once contact me before you go there as after 3months of your visa expire chinese goverment have rights to charge you 500x per day with a policy of 5000 maximum penalty ( god knows about policy as it changes everyday in China ) and then if you are overstayed more then 3months they can put you 6months in prison as well ( most of case they dont but you can browse this information i lost the blog where i read is last time )

If your visa has expire.............! There is nothing you can do except going to the exit entry department and notify them.

The Low is very clear.... If your visa expire and you stay in china for less than 10 days you don't need to pay a fine.

Over 10 days AND NOT 3 MONTHS LIKE VIKY SAYS... > you must pay 500 rmb per day e.g. over stay 11 days you will end up paying 500 rmb.

And these amount cannot exceed 5000 rmb wich is what you are going to have to pay.

Ones you pay that you will be abel to leave china, and apply for another Visa for an L in HK is about 800 hk dollars depends on your nationality.

And for an F 2 entries is 2000 Rmb and for an F multy 6 months the cheapest price for the moment is 3500 hong kong dollars

Ps don't need to hand your passport to no one , just do it your self is a very cumum case in china.

My usa room mate did it a month ago he was over stay 5 months.

Now he is back with new Visa no problem what so ever.

No one can get visas for Philippines or the rest of the black listed country , the max possible is 15 days.

i just got mine..
but its pretty expensive though (RMB7000 for single-entry, valid for 6 months).

there is an agent who can process visa for the so called "black listed" (33 countries), but must be in a group of five people.

Consumer privacy it does exist specially when it comes to Government papers.

Real Agents never show away there clients ID.

I'm holding a Philippine Passport, I will be in HK this coming March 17 to 21, during that perios i intend to visit Shenzhen, do i need a Visa going there.? I'll probably take a train.

You will need a Visa for HongKong an another one for Shenzhen.

If I was you I would aply from your home country since Chinese Visas for Filipinos are not so easy to get anymore an if yes they can be very pricey....!

F visa itself. My business invitation leter says 3 months. Now i need to get my visa extended again. Can i get it done at the Shenzhen public security bureau? please let me know. Its urgent. There is one PSB at Louhu . Will i get an extension there?

F visa extension is still difficulte in China mainland,
