Dear Friends,


The U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou is holding events to raise funds for those people affected by the devastating Sichuan earthquakes. The donations will be given to Half-the-Sky, Habitat-for-Humanity and China Charity Federation.

June 22 Charity Walk-a-Thon

Walkers will meet at 9:45 a.m. in the field beside the U.S. Consulate on Shamian.


Participants should wear their “Jia You” t-shirts for our walk around Shamian Island;


Consul General Goldberg and his wife Sally Werner will also walk in support of our charitable activities for the earthquake victims.


Donations will be given to Half-the-Sky and China Charity Federation.
