Hi there,

I want to buy a laptop for up to 6000RNB. Where can I get the best machine for this money? People keep telling me that it is better to buy electronics like this in HK, is that so?
Does anybody have a good used laptop for sell?

go on eBay, if they are still in China. I heard they might be out soon because they first went in charging thinking they were going to clean house and kick everyones butt because they are from the USA. But I think it backfired on them. But, if they are still there you can get it on eBay.

If you aren't brand-concious, Vioo (a local Chinese brand) have a terrific range of new excellent machines for very little.

Their specifications in terms of processor speed, memory, etc. compare very favourably with the international brands.

If you prefer a smaller, lighter, laptop they have these too - like REALLY small (but well-specified) laptops for between RMB 4,000 and 5,000.
