Bank Account for Foreigner

Hi guys,

My name is Maia, I just moved to Shenzhen and am trying to organize myself a bit..

I need to open a savings account just to put some cash I have on me and also receive some money from overseas.

I’ve been recommended to go for BOC, is it the best? I tried ringing them today but the number 2233-8888 is Mandarin only so I couldn’t get the information.

What I need to know is if I can get a bank acc with my passport and what other documents they might need. And if I can get internet banking for a simple savings account.

If you have any experience on that pls share :P
