The 7th China International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) will be celebrated on May 13-16, 2011, at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The fair aims to promote Chinese national culture to the international scene. In keeping with the goals of the ICIF to become globally recognized as a culturally grown nation, the organizers of the fair headed by the Ministry of Finance have invited exhibitors and buyers from all over the globe to experience nation building and nation blending crafted in cultural representations.
The annual cultural trade divided the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center into distinctive halls to cater to the different aspects of Chinese cultural heritage. The ICIF Hall 1 is exclusively dedicated to stage the cultural industry of China. It occupies the largest portion of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, enclosing 30000 square meters of the area. It is the largest exhibition hall in the ICIF 2011.
The Cultural Industries ICIF 2011 Hall I is divided in three areas, the Government Groups, Cultural Enterprises and the Negotiation and Trade Area for Investment and Financing projects. The segment for the government groups will be holding presentations for the achievements China in the cultural industry compounded over time. The regional cultural project that has materialized since the advent of the ICIF will also form part of their exhibition. It also displays the current trend in cultural tourism resources, the upgrades in the investment in environment and new policies. And there is also an exemplified avenue addressing investment projects in culture-related industries together with cultural products that possess local characteristics that are noteworthy of international recognition.
The area for Enterprises has a strong cultural orientation staging the National Cultural industry funded by China. These include cinema and audio visual media. The contents of the exhibition will come from the various business ventures that are culturally inclined and contained.
The Negotiation and Trade Area for Investments and Financing project will be composed of a summarized report and replica of cultural industry infrastructure constructions. It will also embody the cultural tourism projects sponsored by the local governments and cultural industry projects under the national broadcast, TV organization, and press and publishing organizations discussing Intellectual Property trade, copyright trade, trade of digital television equipment together with its terminal products, audio-visual products trade, the trade and auction of distribution rights, technological transfer, cooperation in media operation trade and other similar activities necessary in media maneuvers.
