Step by Step Exhibitor's Guide for ICIF 2011

The 7th International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF 2011) in Shenzhen, China is hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China, Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, and the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television. Among its many sponsors are Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Media Group, Shenzhen Press Group, and Shenzhen Publication and Distribution Group Company. It is an integrated cultural industries fair, and the only one in China that is on a national level. Its focus is on exposition and trade. The Application Procedure ICIF 2011 is as follows:

First is the booth booking. An applicant should be eligible to participate before reserving a slot for their booth. All applications must be submitted to ICIF Company (Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co., Ltd.).

The next step is getting your contract signed. After signing the contracts, exhibitors should make the necessary payments such as booth deposit and other fees to the ICIF Company appointed bank account.

After this procedure, exhibitors may request the Office to send invitation letters to target buyer groups or other international buyers.

The next procedure is the booth confirmation. Here, the Office will provide the Exhibitor’s Manual. Exhibitors may now submit their projects that are open to investment to the Office. Selected projects will be included in the Promotion Conference of China’s Cultural Industries Projects Open for Investment. Advertisement requests are also submitted to the Office in this procedure. You may choose between graphic or print media, or electronic media. Authorized Service Providers will be determined by ICIF Company upon quality appraisal. The exhibitors can choose and employ any among the selected providers according to their own specifications or requirements.

The final procedure is the documentation. Exhibitors are required to submit the necessary documents to the ICIF Company. This serves the purpose of compiling the event catalogue and other fair publications. ICIF Company will also support exhibitors in providing and coordinating services such as language interpretation, business travel, insurance and security, law, customs, transportations, and other services.
