Learn About China’s New Lifestyle and Shop for New Media at ICIF 2011 Hall 3

The Seventh China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair is fast approaching. The fair will run from the thirteenth to the sixteenth days of May 2011 and will be housed by the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The hundred thousand square meters of area leased out to the Seventh China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair will be divided into eight halls focusing on different industrial fields. Particularly ICIF 2011 Hall 3 will be the section that will spark the interest of movie buffs, couch potatoes and gamers. It will officially be called and titled as ICIF 2011 Hall 3: Movies, Television and Animation Games with the tag line of “New Lifestyle. New Media”.

The ICIF 2011 Hall 3: Movies, Television and Animation Games covers about seven thousand five hundred square meters of space that is further divided into eight sections. But the whole ICIF 2011 Hall 3: Movies, Television and Animation Games will focus on showcasing China’s trailblazing industries that relate to digital movies, television, animation or cartoons and games. It will be specifically overseen by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. Just like how all the other eight halls are being administered by specialized government ministries and industries.

The ICIF 2011 Hall 3: Movies, Television and Animation Games will hold a special activity just for this event. It will be holding the second ever held selection of China’s top ten cartoon characters for the year. Thus, animators or cartoonists are highly encouraged to submit their entries to garner this prestigious award.

For visitors, exhibitors and buyers, it would be helpful to acquaint yourself with the eight different sections of the vast ICIF 2011 Hall 3: Movies, Television and Animation Games. The first section is the New Media Movie & TV Enterprises which will showcase the newest movies and television works from well-known companies and will also be the launching site of the newest gadgets when it comes to household televisions. The Web Agencies section will house everything that has to do with the World Wide Web, web-based products and gadgets, and will also include exhibits of cellular phones. The Integration of Triple Network section will exhibit the convergence of three networks, namely the internet, the television and the movies. Then there are the two specialized sections of Animation Enterprises and Game Enterprises that is devoted to the sections’ namesakes which are animation and games. 

There too is the Film Screening Area where visitors will be able to watch the latest in digital and animated movies. The seventh section is the Negotiation Area or what may be known to westerners as the area where press conferences are held. Then the last but definitely not the least is a section that is location-dedicated which is Hong Kong and Macao, where the local cultural and tourism initiatives are showcased.
