The 7th International Cultural Industrial Fair to be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on May 13-16, 2011, is gearing up to stage the recent developments in their cultural heritage. China’s quest for international recognition is not limited to the avenues of trade and business. China managed to incorporate its cultural richness and bearing to their advancement, discoveries and innovations. Time has flown so fast and yet China maintained to stand out, despite the global criticisms as to how it manages its economy and politics, and is now aiming for the geopolitical shift of power. Today, China proves that learning to love the roots of your talents and knowledge will bring you forward to your destination.

The ICIF Hall 7 is the holding area for the Press and Publication Industry of China. It allotted an exhibition area of 7,500 square meters to accommodate books, newspapers and periodicals, audio –visual products, electronic products, network, digital publishing and low carbon printing in China. The sixth exhibition hall of the ICIF 2011 will also hold the following activities, all in relation to Press and Publication: Technical conference/Professional Technology Forum, Reading–Series Activities, Order-Placing Meeting, On-site Discount retail activities for locals, serial promotions of new books and press releases, reader meetings, and book signing events.

The Press and Publication Hall of the ICIF 2011 is further subdivided into four interrelated segments. The first and biggest segment will give you assorted Digital Publishing Products further categorized into: mobile multimedia as they spearhead the growth of their mobile manufacturing industry, their own version of PDF formatted materials embedded in their electronic reader, enhanced web-based reading technology, audio books, semantic research and digital teaching materials. These products are the result of the combined efforts of the local and international exhibitors holding leading enterprises in their own industries dealing in digital technology, communications operators, publishing groups and presses, newspaper groups and agencies, periodicals, bookstores, private book publishing, different online publishing sites and information websites and libraries.

Segment Two of the 6th ICIF Hall, contains eco-friendly publishing process, coined as Green and Environment-Friendly Printing, showcasing more than just methods of the Earth’s conservation but also, production and services enterprises, scientific research and developments inclusive of teaching organizations, production equipment suppliers and materials producers in connection to green and environment friendly printing technologies. The third portion of the ICIF Hall 7 holds the Enterprise Brand and Cultural Diffusion. This area is created to provide enterprise concept and culture, including enterprise branding, in-house journals of the publications and other related circulated publications.

Segment Four is the place for interested tourists and visitors and exhibitors to sell and purchase books and audio visual products, software and electronic journals, digital learning products both locally and internationally produced.
